When people think of California, they think of good weather and our beautiful beaches. The California coastline is an amazing ecosystem that is slowing becoming endangered by the actions of humans. Specifically in Monterey, the keystone species that holds our ecosystem together is threatened by the conditions of the bay. Our group, Project Keystone, is asking California to add a California Coastline Research Fund option to the Voluntary Contributions on the state Income Tax Form and send the money to organizations that dedicate themselves to finding solutions to the endangerment of our ocean. Help save the otters and save the bay by supporting the entire California coastline, which we have grown to love.
