They say no news is good news — but I wanted to take a moment to reassure everyone who signed this petition: we’re still fighting, and we’re not backing down.
Calgary Housing and the City of Calgary have been caught in a mess of their own making. A policy was pushed out with no proper consultation, and now they’re scrambling. They’ve told the media and the MLA’s office that tenants were simply “misinformed.” But if that’s true, then why haven’t updated notices or corrected lease terms been sent out?
This goes beyond public relations. This is a question of informed consent, legal clarity, and basic accountability. If tenants were misled or not properly informed about something that could impact their housing, that is not just a mistake — it’s a breach of trust.
So while it may seem quiet, I promise you:
✅ We are still holding the line.
✅ They’ve already been exposed — now they have no choice but to fix it.
✅ I won’t stop until they do.
Whether you’re a tenant directly affected or someone who simply believes in fairness and human dignity — your support still matters. You haven’t been forgotten, and you never will be.
