Update from the Change.org Community Connection Team

Hello, My name is Jason, and I’m part of the Community Connection Team at Change.org. Our mission is to connect petition supporters with decision makers and help foster healthy civic engagement in our communities.

We reached out to Caldwell city officials to make sure they had seen the petition and offer them a chance to respond.

An official replied to our outreach and shared the following:

"Thank you for reaching out and for sharing the concerns expressed by petition signers.

The City of Caldwell appreciates residents being involved and participating in the civic process. We encourage community members to engage directly with their elected officials, attend City Council meetings, and share their perspectives during public comment, where individuals have up to three minutes to address matters of concern.

The City remains committed to transparency, public safety, and listening to community feedback."
