Save Agile Wallabies by giving them some land back!

Local and innocent Agile Wallabies in Trinity Beach, Cairns, have been forced out of their original habitat from development sites in the area. Populations have crowded in the remaining neighbouring properties and the animals have almost used all their resources. Food and water is limited and some are dying from starvation and dehydration. THE AGILE PROJECT has been initiated by Student Ecologist, Shai Ager, as she plans to begin the relocation process of 30-40 wallabies from the area. They will be removed from the population of approx. 400 and taken to a safe and secure environment away from human interference. This will help alleviate the problem and reduce pressure on resources. HOWEVER, land needs to be put aside by the Cairns Council as a wallaby reserve. You can help make this happen! Sign the petition and let the Cairns Council know you support an Agile Wallaby Reserve in the Trinity Beach area. Your signature can save lives.
