With the new Federal Government administration of climate change deniers is expected a massive purge of top environmental researchers and the destruction of decades of data and research work.  The Government of California can and should setup an emergency rescue data hub and environmental team support facility, here in California, to avoid the permanent loss or balkanization of such research.  Already, the incoming administration has been taking-names of Federal researchers who've participated in international climate change meetings, and researchers are preparing for massive data stores to be destroyed.  The Government of California can and should rescue this data, research work and key research teams with new State facilities and by expediting the integration of teams and data into existing state programs and public universities.
