This petition has been made to support and improve the wildlife in the state of Idaho. Idaho is a state known for exploring the great outdoors and its wildlife and for years the Idaho Department of Fish and Game has been struggling to meet the financial needs for the department. There has been talk about auctioning off some of the best controlled hunt which would only take away from local Idahoans who could never afford the tags as they end up going to other, richer, and in some cases out of state hunters. This petition is to help Fish and Game increase the amount of funds they have coming in while keeping current license and fees at a reasonable cost for Idaho residents. In doing so controlled hunt draw fees for residents and non-resident will not be refundable and would go to the Department of Fish and Game for improving wildlife management.

If this would have been in place for the 2016-17 big game season for the following big game animals Moose, Bighorn Sheep, Mountain Goat the state would have gathered the amount in fees and tags per controlled application.
