🥾 LA LONGUE MARCHE ~ THE LONG WALK

Kathleen O’Connell Renaud et Kristin Muller vont marcher plus de 100 km pour que les communautés touchées par le TGV d’Alto se fassent entendre. Et si on faisait un bout de chemin avec elles?

Du 8 au 12 novembre, les deux marcheuses d’ALTNO / United Against ALTO partiront de Saint-Eugène, à Hawkesbury Est, et suivront le Sentier récréatif de Prescott et Russell jusqu’à Ottawa. Elles y remettront une pétition pour demander une intervention dans le dossier Alto et une véritable consultation des communautés touchées.

👟 Venez marcher un kilomètre, une heure ou plus! Vous pouvez aussi les retrouver à un arrêt, les encourager et signer la pétition. Que vous soyez du Québec ou de l’Ontario, venez leur montrer qu’on est là, ensemble.

Kathleen O’Connell Renaud and Kristin Muller are walking more than 100 km to make sure communities affected by Alto’s high-speed rail project are heard. Will you walk part of the way with them?

From November 8 to 12, the two walkers from ALTNO / United Against ALTO will set out from St. Eugène, East Hawkesbury, and follow the Prescott-Russell Recreational Trail before continuing into Ottawa. There, they’ll present a petition calling for intervention in the Alto project and meaningful consultation with affected communities.

👟 Join them for a kilometre, an hour, or longer! You can also meet them at one of the stops to cheer them on and sign the petition. Whether you’re from Quebec or Ontario, come show them they have people walking beside them.
