On the early morning of October 23, 2017, BYU Broadcasting announced its decision to eliminate Classical 89 before the summer of 2018. Apparently all of the donations, high listenership, and ratings within the top 5 of its kind nationally remain not enough to show BYU that we love and need this integral staple of the arts in our Utah community. Join me in fighting this and informing BYU that free classical music radio is too important to give up.
