Excellent Support Thank You ! -100 Signed in less than 3 days

100 signers for this petition may not seem a huge amount but this is a massive milestone. Of the License holders in the Canterbury District 100 signers represents at least 20% of the license holders.

This petition is focused on helping a specific group of people who have become essential "support workers" during the pandemic, placing themselves at risk, in order to make sure essential workers are able to travel.

Canterbury Council Business support have not responded yet but hopefully will listen to this petition and change its mind on implementing what is clearly a poorly timed increase.

This increase comes at a time when the reduction in income is estimated to be at 75% less normal for all license holders so it is directly impacting their ability to survive the financial aspects of the pandemic similar to many groups and individuals.

Please continue to share to get more people to sign as it will hopefully add to the argument that the fee increase should be halted until April 2022.
