Thank you to everyone who sent letters and pictures for us to share at our meeting with Paul Pomeroy the CEO of McDonalds UK.  We passed them all on and hopefully some of you will get a reply. 

When we met him he told us about the trial McDonalds in the UK are planning to do where they will offer a choice of a toy, fruit or a book. They want to see what people want before deciding on whether to stop plastic toys. 

We told him we would really like them to stop toys altogether.  If you agree and you order a happy meal please make a point of giving back the toy and saying why.  Please ask people you know to do this too. 

We are hoping that we will get to see the trial in action if it happens locally and that enough people won't want the toys.
