Bureau of Land Management in Kingman Arizona has decided to roundup 1000 free roaming burros from the Black Mountain range. These burros will be taken from their home and separated from their herds. The government says their plan is to adopt them to new homes, but their holding pens are already past capacity. Oatman Arizona is a tourist town home to many free roaming burros. People come from all over the world to visit there and interact with wild burros. We need to make our voices heard! Why are we not allowed as citizens in this county to have a vote on this issue? We can not allow the federal government to go against what has been a protection act for these free roaming burros since 1971. Please take the time to sign our petition to help let as many people know what is happening here starting September 2020. We moved here because we love all of the wildlife, including these beautiful burros. They are peaceful, friendly and mean no harm. Oatman Arizona could become a ghost town again without the burros coming to town daily. We need to stop this from happening! The burros can’t speak for themselves. We must be their voices and fight back!!!! Keep wild burros and wild horses free!!
