We had received an email response from Council member Timothy Murphy of Burbank, California regarding our campaign. We asked Burbank to take action against the dog meat trade in Incheon, South Korea, Burbank’s Sister City. We are grateful to Mr. Murphy for responding to our concern so quickly, and for expressing his support for our campaign. He thanked us for our message and informed us that he signed several of our petitions. We hope that the Council member Murphy will be able to bring the city leadership on board to speak out against the horrible cruelty, and urge Incheon to enforce the law to close down the illegal dog meat industry.
