Are you ready to vote YES to trade the old Dennis Park for a new larger park?
Voter registration deadline is March 11th.
Please note this information from Fred Sherman from the JOCO Election office:
“As defined by Kansas election law, the overall voter registration deadline closes 21-days prior to the election date, which will be on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. What is different for a special mail ballot election is only those active registered voters that are registered to vote 30-days prior to the election date will be automatically sent a mail ballot for this election. Those voters who register to vote between 30 and 21 days prior to the election date will need to submit a Replacement Ballot Application in order to receive a mail ballot for the election. We will post that Replacement Form on the Election Office website once it is closer to that timeframe.”
To be safest, we advise making sure you are registered to vote before March 1st.

Ballots will be mailed on Wednesday, March 12th to every registered voter in Westwood with a postage paid return envelope.
Ballots must be received by the JOCO election office before NOON on Tuesday April 1st.
We are unsure if any drop boxes other than the drop box at the Election offices will be open and will update when we have official word.
We strongly advise mailing ballots by Wednesday March 26th to account for USPS mailing times.
