TLDR; Please put in a quick submission to the Inner West Council Blue-Green Grid strategy!

Even a single sentence in support of the Iron Cove Creek, or any other project, will show staff that this is a winning choice for community infrastructure. The NSW Government is funding these projects.

Blue-Green Grid
Inner West Council is seeking feedback until 30 April on a proposed Blue-Green Grid strategy to "provide easy, enjoyable walking and cycling connections between the places where we live and work (town centres, schools, public transport hubs) with the places where we relax and recharge. This means linking the Blue (rivers, creeks, canals, harbour) with the Green (parks, reserves, green corridors) with the places that people travel to and from." It only takes a few seconds to provide your feedback - through placing markers on a map, and/or giving a thumbs up to other markers already there. Please share your local knowledge, and consider endorsing the concept of a walkway/low-speed cycleway along the Iron Cove Creek (Dobroyd Canal) between Ashfield Pool and the Bay Run!

Masterplan Update
Friends of Iron Cove Creek recently met with Inner West Council officers for an update. The draft Master Plan for the Iron Cove Creek path is taking shape and will soon be reported to Council for approval to put on public exhibition. We will let you know when this happens, so you can provide your feedback directly to Council.

Thank you so much for your support!
