As people who live, work and study in Galway city we, the undersigned, request our political representatives to support Galway City Council in securing the funding to transform the former Corrib Railway Bridge into a major iconic pedestrian-cycle-nature network (which was to have been constructed in the year 2000) to connect users to University, hospital, schools, workplaces, accommodation, woodlands, parks, waterways and the proposed Connemara Greenway, and which is also supported by stakeholders from across all sectors of local society. 
 
Mar dhaoine a chónaíonn, a oibríonn agus a dhéanann staidéar i gCathair na Gaillimhe, iarraimid, na sínithe thíos, ar ár n-ionadaithe polaitiúla tacú le Comhairle Cathrach na Gaillimhe chun an maoiniú a sholáthar le Droichead Iarnróid na Coiribe a ath-chruthú mar líonra íocónach do choisithe, do rothaithe agus don nádúir (droichead a bhí le tógáil sa bhliain 2000) chun an pobal a nascadh le  hOllscoil, ospidéal, scoileanna, ionaid oibre, lóistín, coillte, páirceanna, bealaí uisce agus an Glasbhealach atá beartaithe go Conamara, agus a bhfuil tacaíocht aige ó ionadaithe as gach earnáil den tsochaí áitiúil.
