Come share the dream of having murals in the skatepark/garden we are campaigning for in central Brooklyn! This Saturday, join the Brooklyn Skate Garden as we come together as an inclusive community where you can make new friends, take care of your park, be creative, and have fun! Rain or shine, come out to Washington Park Skate Park (MS. 51) near the Old Stone House. We will be doing a free mural inspiration workshop led by artist/skateboarder Eric Friedensohn (@efdot) and @LolaTheIllustrator!! Come learn about the mural making process, being green and what it takes to make our skateparks, and our world a more sustainable place. (to be clear: we won't be painting the mural, just planning it.)
