The 14’ Tall Waterfall sparkles cascading to a splash pool adjacent to the favorite small weddings courtyard. The falls is central to the scenic view from the Vista Overlook and encircling Ridge Rim Trail.

When I learned green roofs needed only 2’ soil depth instead of 4’, I lowered the roofline height to 12’, cut the switchback to a single ramp and added a seating circle.

Other members reacted by voting the height back up and raised the internal ceilings. They felt the 14’ height created the ambiance and impressiveness of the Tall Waterfall.

Twelve foot is barely in reach, but 14’ has the head tilt back and the eyes rise up to look, changing perspective, adding import.
