I still haven't heard back from the City of Armadale (close to 2 weeks later!) but I have heard back from Matt Keogh and Yaz Mubarakai's office.

Thank you for writing to me, I really appreciate your feedback on this issue. I note that the City of Armadale is aware of this issue too. Thank you for your strong advocacy, including creating a website and a petition on this matter, which seeks an important road safety outcome.
I have also written to the City of Armadale about this particular intersection. I have requested that the City of Armadale submit an application for this Eleventh Road-Lannam Road-Astoria Boulevard intersection for the Black Spot Program, a Federal funding program specifically targeted at improving road safety throughout Australia. In late 2024, the Albanese Government increased funding for the Black Spot Program to $150 million each year. Importantly, the criteria for eligible projects moving forward is now more flexible, with the intention being to fund more proactively, rather than merely reacting to crashes or other incidents, as has previously been the case.

Yaz takes community safety very seriously, particularly where there are concerns involving schools, childcare centres, and high-traffic areas. The number of incidents you have described on Eleventh Road is understandably concerning, and we appreciate the information you have provided.
Yaz has asked me to advise that he will be raising these concerns with the City of Armadale to gain a better understanding of the steps currently being taken to address safety issues at the Lannam Road and Narran Street intersections, as well as any longer-term solutions being considered.
We will keep your concerns on record and will provide an update should we receive any further information from the City.
