Dear Supporters,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to share some exciting updates regarding our ongoing efforts to build a pump track for all in Bakersfield.
In recent meetings with our local leaders, we have made significant progress. I am thrilled to announce that we have been able to identify pump tracks in the City's master plan. This is a significant step forward in our campaign, and it brings us closer to our goal.
However, our work is far from over. Now, more than ever, we need your active participation. It is up to us to contact our leaders, show up to council meetings, and make our voices heard. Our leaders need to understand the importance of this initiative and the positive impact it will have on our community.
In addition to this, I would like to draw your attention to a write-up that was published in last weekend's newspaper. The article, titled "Community Voices: We need a pump track in Kern County," discusses the opportunity that the creation of an all-inclusive asphalt pump track could greatly enhance our community. It highlights the growing trend of cities embracing pump tracks as a means to promote outdoor activity, inclusivity, and community spirit. You can read the full article here:
Let's continue to push for this initiative. Remember, a pump track is not just a recreational facility; it is a platform for promoting outdoor activity, inclusivity, and community spirit. It can be enjoyed by cyclists of all ages and skill levels and can accommodate a variety of equipment, from BMX bikes and mountain bikes to kids' bikes, scooters, skateboards, and even wheelchairs.
Thank you for your continued support and dedication. Together, we can make this dream a reality.
Peace!
