I am petitioning Buffalo David Bitton because they continue to sell clothing that contains angora rabbit fur from China. Just this past month, I was horrified to see this label on one of their sweaters that clearly reads "contains angora fur, made in China". I have contacted them but have received no response. 

Angora rabbits that are used for their wool in China suffer unbelievable pain and terror until they die. Every 3 months Chinese workers tightly tether their feet and their fur is violently ripped out down to their bare skin! Well documented videos show this and you can hear them scream with pain every time their fur is ripped out. Afterwards they are casually thrown into a filthy, barren cage where they clearly are suffering from shock. Here they stay until their fur grows back in, only to have it ripped out again. Many suffer from infection with no medical intervention.

98% of angora rabbit fur comes from China. Many large clothing companies, GAP, H&M, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Marc O'Polo, Victoria's Secret and ASOP have pledge to stop using angora fur. It's time that Buffalo David Bitton Clothing steps up to the plate and refuses to sell any piece of clothing that contains any animal's fur.
