David Greenhalf started this petition to Budmouth Interim Executive Board; Kate Shaw
Forced academisation has proven to be bad for schools, the staff, the parents and most importantly the students. There are no academic advantages to forced academisation; there is no improvement in GCSE results and in a recent survey, they were shown to have, "below average achievements in sixth form results. Yet they pay themselves huge amount of money, which should be going into your child's education

Have the school re-inspected as changes already made have made great improvements and the school will be assessed as 'good' at present and on it's way back to 'outstanding!'

My youngest son, who has been well supported at the school, is in sixth form and his older brother also attended the school. My fear is that my younger son will not continue to receive the support necessary for him to have equal opportunities, especially when there are planned redundancies for support staff.
