In this time of great uncertainty for the futures of so many, it is incumbent for us, the strong, united people of Orlando, to stand together to ensure the safety and security of our friends, family and neighbors. 

It is our responsibility to join the other great cities of our nation (New York, Los Angeles, Sanford, etc.) in an act of solidarity, compassion and defiance of the newly instated draconian measures of the Trump administration by declaring Orlando a Sanctuary City.

MCO (Orlando International Airport) is a major hub for millions of tourists, families, and travelers from around the world. We have a long history of being a safe place destination and we cannot afford, financially or morally, to stand by and allow the Federal government to interfere with our way of life and the lives of those we depend upon for so many things.
