We recently learned in a letter from Dr. Joshua Gordon, M.D., Ph.D., the new NIMH DIrector, that as a result of our advocacy efforts, the NIMH is now considering a webinar for researchers interested in personality disorders to support more robust research proposals consistent with NIMH criteria in 2017, and is looking to appoint a personality disorder expert to their team. These are very encouraging signs of progress, and certainly thanks to your support, Emotions Matter was able to put BPD on NIMH's radar in 2016.
