Emotions Matter, Inc.
May 15, 2016
Paula Tusiani-Eng and Sarah Rooney from Emotions Matter,Inc, and Dr. Perry Hoffman, Ph.D. and Dr. Carla Sharp from NEA-BPD visited with Bruce Cuthbert, Acting Director of the NIMH last week. Emotions Matters presented our petition with a print out of more than 4,000 signatures for more BPD research. Mr. Cuthbert thanked signers for their comments and feedback on borderline personality disorder. He spent time speaking with us about BPD, educating us about research, and learning about our advocacy and family education efforts. Thanks to all of those in the United States and around the world who supported our letter-writing campaign. We will continue to collect signatures until the end of May during BPD Awareness Month.
