We object most strongly to the proposals by Broxtowe Borough Council to demolish either in part or completely the historic 1936 Town Hall and call on them to seek a solution that results in the preservation of the original external and internal architectural features.

two of which involve demolition.

Much of Beeston's character was lost in the 1960s with the unwise demolition of characterful historic architecture - the Beeston and District Civic Society along with the wider community desperately want to prevent similar happening again so please do sign!
