Eid Holiday for Muslim Students

Eid Holiday for Muslim Students
The Issue
Eid Al Fitr and Eid Al Adha are the sole two celebrations in the Islamic calendar. During these two holidays, Muslims all over the globe celebrate peacefully and in unity. However, most Muslim students in the United States do not have the liberty to celebrate any of these two holidays with family and friends and often spend the joyous day at school. Muslims should be able to have a day off on the Eids just like the way Christians have a day off on Christmas and Easter and Jews have a day off on Passover and Rosh Hashana along with numerous other holidays like Thanksgiving, New Years Eve, Labor Day, Memorial Day, MLK Day, and more.
