There are so many more deserving shows in need of your expertise and dollars. A "Cats" revival will only re-create the insidious tourist trap of the 80's and 90's that diverted unwitting out-of-towner dollars towards a show that set the standard of producing which we are still suffering through today. Have you no mercy? Must you add a new contagion to the plague which has been starving out newer and fresher and more rewarding works? The new black hole which a revival of "Cats" will create in Times Square will only further retard creative growth on Broadway, its ramifications will be felt well into the next millennia. A pox on your box office should you bring that show back!
