Over the years, the Darke County Animal Shelter in Greenville, Ohio has been euthanizing Pitbulls and Pitbull Mixes only because of their "Policy." The shelter has contacted rescues in the past, but what happens when their are no rescues available? Is there truly effort being done to save these dogs?  When is enough, enough? This is the second Petition started, and nothing has yet been changed or done. All of these Pitties deserve Justice! The Pitbulls are not even posted on their website or Facebook page. They are shoved in the "back" and left there till their time is up, hoping a rescue will be found in time. The Facebook page also deletes their dogs and posts, leaving everyone who follows wondering what really happened to the dogs previously posted?! How is this acceptable?! It takes one person to make a statement but a whole Village to make a change. If you want to make your voice heard by speaking up for the injustice occurring at the shelter, Please sign this Petition and contact the Commissioner's. Darke County does have a website. If you are from Darke County, please attend the county commissioner's meetings which are Monday's and Wednesday's at 1:30pm, located in the building beside the county Court House (first door on the right from the main door), and respectfully express your concern. Together, we can make a change! We are their voice, whom else will speak for them?! Please only be respectful if contacting the Commissioner's. No hate, just love and compassion please!
