A one-year delay is a good start; we keep pushing with our petition for safer underground-lines through Anmore and for previous alternatives, and you keep signing (we have now 684 signatures). Tell your family and friends to sign our petition, who spend significant amount of time at your home and are exposed to health and safety risks...... We have also asked the BC Ministries to demand BC Hydro to look into previous alternatives, such as along Highway-1. We have further suggested to BC Ministries to request a major audit into BC Hydro's practices including (1) the reorganization of a new Board, with all members having no conflict of interest and not doing businesses related to BC Hydro's, and (2) the setup of a special council including an engineer, a health scientist and an ethicist among others.
