Justice for Boxer Muhammad Ali-URGENT review of BBBOC regulations for Diabetics needed.

Justice for Boxer Muhammad Ali-URGENT review of BBBOC regulations for Diabetics needed.
The Issue
IT'S TIME TO STOP DISCRIMINATION AGAINST PEOPLE WITH DIABETES, THEY ARE JUST LIKE YOU AND ME.
Muhammad Ali applied for his professional boxing licence to the British Boxing Board of Control in 2015 only to have this refused without any valid reason other than being a type 1 diabetic. Despite Ali seeking the medical assistance of Dr Ian Gallen, a leading endocrinologist who is widely recognised for his work in the field of assisting diabetic athletes, the BBBOC have refused to grant Ali his licence. Dr Gallen has confirmed that Ali not only has his diabetes under control but that he is medically fit to box professionally. A fully devised medical protocol has also been submitted to the BBBOC by Dr Gallen which involves the fitting of a device which monitors Ali’s blood sugar levels throughout bouts. Dr Gallen has clearly stated that a refusal of Ali’s application would be discriminatory. Your URGENT support is needed for a call for the rules and regulations of the BBBOC to be regulated and monitored independently to abolish prejudicial and discriminatory decisions.
