As we enter into our second week of strike action, NEU members are overwhelmed with the support received for our campaign regarding the suspension and prolonged investigation of our union representative, Alex Turpie. 

As the investigation process which has taken over 12 weeks to complete is now awaiting a concluding hearing next week, the NEU requested for this to be heard by an independent reviewer. This request was denied by the school.

Since strike action began last Wednesday, there has been no attempts of communication from the school to meet with NEU, despite further proposed strike dates being announced for next term, if not resolved.
This matter is now firmly in the public domain, having reached the national interest of the NEU secretary. 

We thank you for your continued support in this difficult period. The education and welfare of your children is paramount to us, and we are taking these desperate measures due to the severity of the situation surrounding processes undertaken in the school.

We want to back fully in school, teaching and supporting our students. We continue to hope and pray that this will be swiftly resolved.
