During Hostage Week, families of wrongful detainees gather in D.C. to advocate for their loved ones and meet with advisors, lawyers, and U.S. officials. It’s emotionally brutal and exhausting to keep pleading for a loved one’s life — but we have to keep reminding our elected officials of a simple truth: Americans are still being held captive abroad.
