Only 2 of the 37 animals who lived on the property were taken from the wild by CFW and brought to live at the Kirshner Wildlife Foundation; an alligator mysteriously found in Butte Creek and Glenda, a "nuisance" black bear from Glendora, California who re-fused to be re-located. All of the other animals came from states where it is legal to breed exotic animals, resulting in the 73% of special needs exotics who lived and were cared for in Butte County.
This is Leyah, a 19 year old blind and deaf lioness, waiting for us to bring her home.
