You already know what our family has been through. Your signatures have meant everything to us.
We need your help and we need it soon. Our attorney has been fighting for Dante’s right to be in his sons’ lives — largely for free — because she believed in justice for our family. She has poured herself into our case through trial and appeal without asking for anything in return.
Now she is being threatened with a lawsuit if we don’t pay $5,000 in transcript costs by March 31st. These are costs she never agreed to pay. We requested a fee waiver twice and were denied both times — then the transcripts were sent to us anyway without any financial arrangement ever being made. Now that debt is being placed on the one person who refused to stop fighting for our family.
We don’t think that’s a coincidence. We think this is about making it too costly for us to keep going. But we are not giving up on Roman and Gianni having their father in their lives.
