Dear Supporters
Apologies. It has been a while since our last update but we would like to reassure you that our efforts to get Anoosheh out of Evin and out of Iran continue relentlessly. The COVID-19 situation has added extra urgency to our case as several cases of infection have been observed in prison but Iranian authorities are refusing to grant furlough to Anoosheh. More than 80,000 prisoners have been sent home to be safe and to spend the Iranian New Year (20 March 2020) with their loved ones. Unfortunate, Anoosheh has not been one of the lucky ones. He will be 66 soon and is at a higher risk from COVID-19. We have had enough of the FCO’s barefaced lies, inaction, hypocrisy, and ineptitude, and we have decided to protest outside the FCO premises on 18 March from 4-6pm. Due to the restrictions on travel, many sympathisers cannot be with us, so we urge you all to support us at the same time by raising a Twitter storm. Maybe we can make Anoosheh’s suffering a trending topic on Twitter and raise more public awareness. The details are as follows:

As ever, we are forever grateful and appreciative of your support.
