This past week, KitKat’s family received a Cease & Desist letter from Fur Baby Rescue, accusing them of defamation and demanding they stop sharing his story and make a public apology. Instead of doing the right thing and reuniting KitKat with his rightful family, the rescue is trying to silence them.

But KitKat’s family will not be silenced. Telling the truth about what happened to their beloved dog is not defamation — it’s their right.
