URGENT: DUE FRIDAY! Government calls for feedback on Park Homes

Andi LittleDenham, ENG, United Kingdom
Feb 13, 2018
The Government is reviewing Park Home legislation and has issued a call to any party with an interest in the area, to submit views. It needs to be in by THIS FRIDAY, and can be emailed.
Don't worry: we can help you if you haven't already filled in this form.
I hope many of you will already know about this event if you already have an interest. I did mean to update on here earlier, but at the time I believed that many of the signatories looked at our Facebook page or were a member of a National Organisation. If that's not the case then here's what you need to do:
The main page is here: https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/review-of-park-homes-legislation-call-for-evidence-part-2
From this main page, click on the link 'response form' which is under the heading 'Ways to Respond.' This is the document you need to fill in. You can print it off and post it, or you can fill it in on your computer and email it. Must be in by 23.59 on Friday according to an email I received from DCLG.
On the response form, you can fill in the document whether you are
'an individual or representing the views of an organisation.' i.e.
A. Park Owner
B. Representative/trade body for park owners
C. Park home resident
D. Representative body for park home residents
E. Other, please state: Click here to enter text.
So you CAN fill it in as an interested party.
The main section you may be interested in, as someone who has signed the petition is SECTION C "FIT AND PROPER PERSON CONTROL"
There are 5 questions.
What I suggest is that you take a look at the form and the questions, and decide which ones are important for you.
There is a supporting document with information here:
https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/662133/Park_homes_-_Call_for_evidence_Part_2.pdf
If you feel questions are not of interest you can leave them, but the important thing is to give your opinion where you want to. If you don't feel that you don't have all the right words for the question, because it is worded by people in government, you are still entitled to answer!
For example if you don't know what the 'practical effect and consequences' of a “fit and proper” test would be, you can still say 'I hope it would....' Or if you don't know how to answer 'would the requirement help deal with the problems in the sector effectively?' you can still give an opinion... 'yes I think it would' or 'I don't know definitely if it would, but it needs something and I think this is it' or 'you have to do something' or if you have experience in business or another area that parallels the question add that in, or whatever you want to put. The important thing is to give your opinion. Let them know you are concerned, that you want something to happen. This is your chance!
They need to know how important it is. This is the chance to change the law.
With all good wishes in completing the form. If you wish to contact
