Half-Life: Decay is the only officially developed title in the Half-Life franchise that has never been released on PC or Steam.

Created by Gearbox Software in collaboration with Valve, Decay is a cooperative campaign originally released exclusively on the PlayStation 2 version of Half-Life in 2001. It tells the story of Dr. Gina Cross and Dr. Colette Green - key Black Mesa scientists whose actions directly contribute to the events of the original Half-Life.

Despite being a canon-adjacent entry that adds meaningful depth to the universe, Decay has been largely forgotten - locked behind outdated hardware and never properly ported or remastered.

Fans have kept it alive through community-made ports like Decay: Solo Mission, but it's long past time Valve officially acknowledged and preserved this chapter of Half-Life history.

We respectfully ask Valve to:

• Release an official PC/Steam version of Half-Life: Decay
• Support single-player or online co-op
• Treat it with the same preservation respect as Opposing Force and Blue Shift

Let's not lose a piece of the story forever.
Half-Life is more than Gordon Freeman - it's the world he lived in.
