As a proud Guzman y Gomez fan, I know I'm not alone in wishing we had one closer to home. Newton Village is a growing, food loving community, yet anyone craving a quick burrito or taco has to drive to another suburb to get it. For busy parents, professionals, and students short on time, that's a real gap.

A Guzman y Gomez drive-through at Newton Village would be a win for everyone. Locals get fast, quality Mexican food without leaving the neighbourhood. The centre gets a proven drawcard that brings in foot traffic. And the local economy gets new jobs, from crew members to shift leaders. GYG openings elsewhere have created 60 to 100+ jobs per store.

Newton Village has already invested millions in its recent upgrade and expansion, so bringing in a Guzman y Gomez drive-through would be the perfect next step, giving residents one more reason to shop, eat, and spend locally.

If you love GYG as much as we do, add your name. Let's show Guzman y Gomez that Newton Village is ready for them.
