I can’t believe I forgot about this! Another GREAT reason we want Pokemon Emerald on eShop: the internal battery drying up! For all of us who have Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald, the internal battery, just like G/S/C, should have dried out by now. Some (read many) of us lack the ability to change it out ourselves, or either lack the means of getting it changed out somewhere or don’t want to risk buying a replacement cartridge.
Besides, in another 10 or so years, it will run out again, so why not just own it digitally and have it never run out!?
Anyway, thank you guys so much for the support, please make out voices heard on social media, and if you ever get the chance, ask Mr. Masuda himself if he’s up for it! Thanks!
