Dear Friends of Wild Horses & Burros, It's September 2014 and the BLM has only engaged in delaying shade and shelter to captive wild horses and burros who suffer in extreme weather. We have offered aid to help improve the welfare of the captives and it has been refused. Other groups. businesses and individuals have offered to help and have been refused as well. Clearly the fed's abuse upsets people around the world who love animals. Neglecting thousands of captive American wild horses and burros is heinous. It’s hard to imagine why the feds want our national icons of freedom to suffer . . . What can we do now besides meet with our elected officials, with this petition in hand, to show them what the people want?
