As it stands now, the BoLM is dancing around the fact that the public wants captive wild horses to have access to shade and shelter. Last summer we tried to negotiate a deal that fell through due to the agency's red tape and bureaucracy. The people at the local level wanted it to work but the Washington office just made something simple complicated. The more signatures you can get on this petition the more the Washington office will know the public is serious about this issue.
