Is there a reason why outcry against the lack of shade and shelter at Palomino Valley and elsewhere has gotten quiet? Who is collaborating with the Bureau of Land Management (BoLM) these days?
According to a press release by Return to Freedom Sanctuary, who seems to have received money from the BoLM in the past, the following groups want to use Pesticide PZP on wild horses:
(Note: Protect Mustangs and other members of the Alliance for Wild Horses and Burros do NOT think pesticides should be forced on wild mares as "birth control" because there is no evidence of overpopulation and this only gives mustang-haters legitimate reason to wipe out the "pests". Plus, PZP, made from slaughterhouse pig ovaries is dangerous. Read about that here: http://protectmustangs.org/?page_id=6922)

Please share this petition with everyone you know and everyone you work with. As it stands now, the BoLM is dancing around the fact that the public wants captive wild horses to have access to shade and shelter.
Last summer we tried to negotiate a deal that fell through due to the agency's red tape and bureaucracy. The people at the local level wanted it to work but the Washington office just made something simple complicated.
The more signatures you can get on this petition the more the Washington office will know the public is serious about this issue.
You may also takes the digital version of this petition into meetings with elected officials to get your point across and let them know how many other stakeholders share your determination to bring access to shade and shelter to wild horses and burros at BoLM's short-term holding facilities.
You know what to do next Cyber Warriors--Share * Share * Share!
Thank you for helping the voiceless captives who suffer.
