Send the petition to your voice in Congress. Ask your 2 senators and your representative to intervene to bring shade to the mustangs and burros. Write a letter to the editor at your local paper explaining that federally protected wild horses and burros--held captive in pens--need access to shade. Let them know that in the wild, our national treasures can move to cooler zones but not in the captive pens. You can refer the public to this petition for more information.
