How many lives will it claim? Reno is expected to hit the triple digits as summer heat waves start baking the captive wild horses trapped in pens with no shade and no shelter. BLM is sitting on their hands despite an outpouring of support from the public to help install shade for the captives. It's cruel and just plain wrong. We urge you to contact your representatives and insist they intervene to bring emergency shade to the wild horses at Palomino Valley Center near Reno Nevada and at other short term holding facilities.
