Dear Friends of Wild Horses & Burros, The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) announces that the Wild Horse and Burro Advisory Board will conduct a meeting on matters pertaining to management and protection of wild, free-roaming horses and burros on the Nation’s public lands. The Advisory Board will meet on Wednesday April 22, 2015, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Time and Thursday April 23, 2015, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time. This will be a two day meeting at the Hyatt Regency in Columbus, Ohio. Public comment is on the 22nd at 3 p.m. and written comments may be submitted also for the Advisory Board. This is your opportunity to demand an end to forced drugging with the pesticide PZP for birth control on underpopulated wild horses and burros as well as insist that the BLM install shade and shelter in the captive pens immediately. See detailed information here about the meeting: http://protectmustangs.org/?p=8033 Please share the petition for Shade & Shelter every day until April 22 so we can meet the goal of 110K signatures to show feds that the public wants shade and shelter for the roundup captives. Thank you for taking action to protect America's national treasures--our wild horses and burros. Many blessings, Anne Anne Novak Executive Director www.ProtectMustangs.org
