Ever since I first heard 'Whip It' on the radio, Devo has been a cornerstone of my musical journey. Their unique sound and self-defined style inspired a generation and continue to influence countless artists across different genres. The last time Devo toured New Zealand, Christchurch wasn't included, leaving many local fans, including myself, longing for the chance to experience their electrifying live performance.

Now, with Christchurch's brand-new stadium ready to host world-class events, it presents the perfect opportunity for Devo to include our city in their tour. The new venue is not only state-of-the-art, but it also symbolizes the resilience and the vibrant cultural renaissance of Christchurch after the devastating earthquakes.

Devo live in Christchurch wouldn't just be a concert; it would be a chance for the community to come together, celebrate our local spirit, and welcome international talent to our shores. Concerts of this caliber also bring significant economic benefits, including attracting visitors from other parts of New Zealand and generating increased revenue for local businesses.

This petition aims to show Devo and their management team the overwhelming enthusiasm Christchurch has for their iconic music. By signing, we can make a compelling case for their next tour to include our wonderful city in its itinerary.

Let's unite as Devo fans and Christchurch residents to make this dream a reality. Sign this petition to bring Devo to Christchurch and give our city the unforgettable live performance it deserves.
