Devil's Third for Wii U was a great game with a lot of potential, but due to Nintendo of America not advertising it and printing something like 3,000 copies for the Americas the game never got a chance to be played and become the huge thriving community Tomonobu Itagaki envisioned.

Despite that a small community of passionate Clans formed that even started playing other Wii U games together. Before even the announcement that the Devil's Third servers were going to be shutdown Devil's Third Online was announced for PC as an updated free to play game. Eventhough the Wii U severs have already been shutdown Devil's Third Online has yet to see it's way to the Americas.

I am hoping with enough attention being brought to Nintendo/Nintendo of America (Nintendo of Europe too) and Valhalla Game Studios as well as Mr. Itagaki that they might bring Devil's Third Online to a new fresh system, the Nintendo Switch. Nintendo recently has been showing their willingness to adopt the Free to Play model and we would love to see Devil's Third Online find it's way to a newer more mobile community! Devil's Third Online is said to be using Unreal Engine 4 which Switch has been comfirmed to use and it's understandable why the Wii U servers were shutdown since the system is on it's last leg so this would give Devil's Third Online a chance to start anew, grow and thrive by Switching  a new system!
