Good evening everyone. 

I was able to talk with Lance Kawamura this afternoon at our local Albertsons store. He was very nice and polite. 

From what I gather online, he is the Senior Director of Operations at Albertsons Companies. 

I let him know that we have an online petition with over 4,500 signatures, and hundreds of comments, in support of Dan Baker. 

He did say that Albertsons is aware of our petition, and has been following it. 

I told him that Dan is a pillar of our community, that this store has flourished under Dan’s leadership, and that we need him back. I let him know that we all love Dan! 

I asked if there is any chance that we can get him reinstated? 

He expressed concern for the situation, but he said that Albertsons is choosing to back their company policy. 

I urged him to please let Albertsons know that the community is not happy about this decision, for them to reconsider. He said he will let them know. 

Lance said that they came to our local store today to boost morale for the employees. 

I really appreciate him taking the time to talk with me today, and to listen to my concerns. 

That’s where we’re at folks. We appreciate every single one of you!! Thank you to everyone who has signed, shared, and left comments in support of Dan! 

I do know some of you stopped by the store today to express your opinion. Thank you!! 

I am not 100% sure, but I think they might still be there tomorrow. In case anyone wants to stop in and let their voice be heard in person. Please remember to be polite and respectful. 

I will leave this petition open for now, so that people can continue to voice their opinions and sign.
