Following the closure of True Fitness, many of Coach Nira Backhouse’s regular participants have lost the opportunity to continue attending the Zumba classes they know and love.

Coach Nira is known for her energetic, easy-to-follow routines and her ability to make participants of different fitness levels feel welcome. Her classes offer more than a great workout—they are filled with warmth, laughter and positive energy, helping participants to stay active, unwind and destress.

Coach Nira has built a loyal community, and many of us would gladly attend her classes at Fitness First Tampines. Some participants may also consider joining Fitness First if her classes are offered there.

Through this petition, we respectfully ask Fitness First Singapore to consider inviting Coach Nira for an audition or interview to teach Zumba at its Tampines branch. We are not requesting guaranteed employment, but an opportunity for her to be considered through Fitness First’s usual recruitment process.
