Two months ago, this petition was launched with one conviction: that piped water for Beecher Town and six surrounding communities in St. Ann, Jamaica, is not a privilege. It is a right.

Today, we stand at 697 signatures—just 3 away from 700—and moving steadily toward our goal of 1,000 signatures.

To everyone who has signed, shared, donated, encouraged, or simply believed in this cause, thank you. Your support is helping to ensure that communities that have waited decades for reliable access to water are not forgotten.

The work continues behind the scenes. Letters have been sent. Follow-ups have been made. This issue has been placed before government officials and decision-makers. Some have responded, while others remain quiet. We understand that not everyone will answer the call—but we remain hopeful. Sometimes, change begins with a few people willing to listen, engage, and help move the needle forward.

As we mark this milestone, I have one simple request:

Ask One More Person.
One coworker.
One church member.
One family member.
One friend.
One contact in your phone.
One stranger whose path crosses yours.

One conversation can create a ripple of change.

If each supporter asks just one more person to sign, our collective voice becomes even stronger. The waiting can be frustrating, and at times progress may seem slow. Yet every signature represents someone who believes that access to water should not depend on where a person lives.

Together, we will continue to advocate. Together, we will continue to follow up. Together, we will continue to keep this issue visible until the communities of Beecher Town and the surrounding areas receive the attention and action they deserve.

💧 Every signature counts.
💧 Every voice matters.
💧 Every community deserves water.

COMMUNITY REQUIRES COMMITMENT.
With gratitude,
